植物学者は「きれいな花」を研究対象に選びやすいバイアスを持っている

　多くの人は地味な花よりも美しい花の方が好きであり、庭の花壇やベランダのプランターに植えるなら色鮮やかな花がいいと考えています。
　同様の傾向は植物学者の間にも存在するようで、オーストラリア・カーティン大学の植物学者であるキングスリー・ディクソン氏が、「植物学者は見た目がきれいな花を研究対象に選びやすいバイアスを持っている」と指摘しています。
