全国の王８８人が集結 イスタナ・ボゴール 大統領と会談
ジョコ・ウィドド（通称ジョコウィ）大統領は４日、西ジャワ州ボゴールのイスタナ（大統領宮殿）で、インドネシア各地の王族と会談した。王族が抱える問題や課題を聞くために実施。互いに協力しながら王族の役割を高め、インドネシアの文化的価値を見いだすともに保護に努めていく。地方での観光産業促進などにも活用していきたい考え。
王たちは各地の伝統衣装で集まった。スマトラ島２０人▽スラウェシ島１８人▽ジャワ島１７人▽カリマンタン島１０人▽マルク諸島９人▽東ヌサトゥンガラ州５人▽西ヌサトゥンガラ州４人▽バリ島３人▽パプア州２人??の計８８人が出席した。
大統領府によると、王族側は大統領と協力しながら政策に貢献したいとした上で、大統領と直接対話できる新たなチームを組織▽開発案など方向性を決定する地域別の代表者会議への出席▽王宮や王族保護のための法整備▽王宮の修復費??などを求めた。
王族を気に掛けない地方政府も多く、伝統や文化保護の支援もほとんどないと訴える王もおり、「伝統文化を活用すれば町おこしにもつながる」などと大統領に伝えたという。
ジョコウィ大統領は王族に対し、重要な文化遺産の保存・維持に引き続き努めるよう呼びかけた。宮殿の修復費用の分配なども実施していく。インドネシアの遺産である全国にある王宮文化を保護し、活用することで地方での観光誘致や発展につなげたい考えだという。
会談にはムハジル・エフェンディ教育文化相とアリフ・ヤフヤ観光相も出席した。
ジョコウィ大統領は２０１６年３月に南スラウェシ州マカッサル市でも、２００人の王族と同様の会議を開き、汚職や麻薬、テロ対策などについて話し合っている。（
