・ＥＵに、軍事インターネット登場へ　世界初

ドイツとオランダは世界初の軍用ネットワーク構築で合意した。ZDNetが報じた。

新たな統合ネットワーク「Tactical Edge Networking (TEN)」は将来的に、北大西洋条約機構（ＮＡＴＯ）加盟国全ての軍事ネットワークを統合する。

第１段階では、ネットワークを通じてドイツ軍の地上作戦（D-LBO）とオランダ国防省の戦術通信プログラム「FOXTROT」との間のコミュニケーションを統合する。

TENの作戦本部はドイツ・コブレンツに置かれ、技術デザインセンターはオランダ・アムステルダムに設置される。ネットワーク展開には数百万ユーロの費用がかかると見られる。

資金は、兵士と車両にTENと互換性のある機器を再装備するために使われる。
