完全新作劇場版『ラブライブ！サンシャイン!!The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow』が2019年1月4日(金)から全国ロードショーされることを記念して、劇場版『ラブライブ！サンシャイン!!The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow』と『ラブライブ！スクールアイドルフェスティバル』(スクフェス)のラッピングトレインがJR山手線に登場した。

2019年1月21日(月)までの期間中、劇場版『ラブライブ！サンシャイン!!The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow』デザインのラッピングトレインが計5編成、スクフェスの衣装を来たAqoursメンバーのラッピングトレインが計5編成運行。12月29日(土)〜2019年1月12日(土)の期間は全10編成が走行する。
