“Cases are rising, including from cases in congregate settings,” said Luciana Borio, who led pandemic preparedness for the National Security Council between 2017 and 2019. “We still have a pandemic.”
Meanwhile, officials in at least 19 states have recorded two-week trends of increasing coronavirus cases, including spikes of more than 200 percent in Arizona and more than 180 percent in Kentucky. Two months after the White House issued so-called gating criteria that it recommended states hit before resuming business and social activities, only a handful of states ? like Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and South Dakota ? currently meet all of those benchmarks, according to CovidExitStrategy.org. 0341日出づる処の名無し2020/06/11(木) 12:08:01.36ID:DyBlBDJuhttps://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2020/06/10/trust-high-black-lives-matter-photo-op-defining-moment-trump/5317621002/?scrolla=5eb6d68b7fedc32c19ef33b4 USA TODAY Poll: Forceful clearing of Lafayette Square protest was defining moment for president and protests Susan Page Sarah ElbeshbishiUSA TODAY USA TODAY/Ipsos世論調査:ホワイトハウス前の広場の抗議行動を強制排除したことに ついて、米国人の10人中9人が反対
An exclusive USA TODAY/Ipsos Poll finds Americans overwhelmingly endorse the right of peaceful protest outside the White House ? a view held by nearly 9 of 10 people across racial and partisan lines. Nearly 9 of 10 heard about the clashes that cleared demonstrators before President Donald Trump walked across the square to stand in front of historic St. John's Church, holding aloft a Bible.
In their wake, Americans by a huge margin, by 22 percentage points, express more trust in the Black Lives Matter movement to promote justice and racial equality than they do in the president of the United States. この件では有権者は22%のマージンで大統領よりもBlack Lives Matterの方を司法の公正 平等を推進するものとして信頼している

Thirty-eight percent of Americans say they trust Trump to promote justice and equal treatment for people of all races ? much lower than the Black Lives Matter movement, trusted by 60%, or the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, trusted by 51%. 0342日出づる処の名無し2020/06/11(木) 12:32:01.48ID:DyBlBDJuhttps://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/coronavirus-making-comeback-arizona-three-weeks-after-governor-lifted-stay-n1229436 Coronavirus is making a comeback in Arizona three weeks after governor lifted stay-at-home order Gov. PHOENIX ? Three weeks after Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey lifted his stay-at-home order, the state has seen a big spike in the number of coronavirus cases.
With nearly 1,100 dead and hospitalizations spiking rapidly, lawmakers and medical professionals are warning there might not be enough emergency room beds to handle what could be a big influx of new cases.
More than 1,500 new cases were reported along with 25 new deaths in the past 24 hours, officials said.
While Ducey has insisted this “is not a crisis situation” and suggested the rise in the number of cases is due to an increase in testing, critics say otherwise and accuse the Republican governor of setting a bad example by not wearing a mask while out in public.

The messaging from the White House on the coronavirus pandemic and the growing anger about the brutal killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis was fueling a drop in his numbers. Why it matters: Milley's comments come as tensions remain high between Trump and the Pentagon over the incident, which was preceded by the clearing of peaceful protesters from the area.

Tucker Carlson?the Fox News host who has spent the past few weeks working himself up into an absolute frenzy over the protests against George Floyd’s death?is losing advertisers, and fast.
Carlson kicked off his Monday night show by claiming Black Lives Matter “is definitely not about black lives,” but rather “left-wing mobs” who are trying to “cancel your rights.” On Tuesday, he lashed out at Sesame Street for showing a special to educate children about racism.
Earlier this week, Popular Information shamed several major companies that have voiced support for Black Lives Matter but still advertised on Carlson's show. Since then, Disney has told the site it would no longer do so. Media Matters reports that Papa John’s has also since confirmed it will cease advertising with Carlson, as well as T-Mobile and SmileDirectClub. The CEO of T-Mobile, Mike Sievert, was asked on Twitter if Tucker’s message was one his company supported. He said: “It definitely is not. NEW YORK (Reuters) - Most Americans, including a majority of President Donald Trump’s Republican Party, support sweeping law enforcement reforms such as a ban on chokeholds and racial profiling after the latest death of an African American while in police custody, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Thursday.
The national survey on June 9-10, shows the public broadly on the side of Democratic lawmakers, who proposed a series of changes to police departments (here) in the United States as protesters gathered nationwide to condemn the death of George Floyd and racism.
The poll (here) conducted online of 1,113 U.S. adults showed bipartisan support for many of the Democrats' proposals. 民主党提案の改革内容の条項の多くに支持がある For example, 82% of Americans want to ban police from using chokeholds, 83% want to ban racial profiling, and 92% want federal police to be required to wear body cameras. チョークホールドの禁止=82%、人種別プロファイリングの禁止=83%、連邦警察の ボディカメラ着用義務=92% It also found that 89% of Americans want to require police to give the people they stop their name, badge number and reason for the stop, and 91% support allowing independent investigations of police departments that show patterns of misconduct. 0407日出づる処の名無し2020/06/12(金) 14:31:06.43ID:Bn1PTJOf 制止行動の警官の名前、バッジ番号、制止の理由の開示義務=89%、問題行動の多い 警察への独立系調査機関による調査実施=91% Seventy-five percent of Americans want to support “allowing victims of police misconduct to sue police departments for damages.” 警察の不当暴力による被害者が警察署を訴訟できるようにする=75% According to the Reuters/Ipsos poll, rank-and-file Republicans appear to be mostly supportive of the proposals Democratic lawmakers in Congress unveiled on June 8.
