川崎病類似の症状相次ぐ　２〜１５歳、コロナ関連か―ＮＹ

【ニューヨーク時事】ニューヨーク市保健局は４日、血管に炎症が起きて、発熱や発疹、
冠動脈障害を引き起こす川崎病などに似た症状を示し、子供１５人が入院したと発表した。
新型コロナウイルス感染に関連している可能性があると指摘している。デブラシオ市長は
５日の記者会見で、発熱や発疹、腹痛、嘔吐（おうと）の症状がある子供は「すぐに医師
に連絡を」と呼び掛けた。
　
市保健局によると、４月１７日以降、２〜１５歳の１５人が入院。全員発熱があり、半数
超は発疹か腹痛、嘔吐、下痢の症状を訴えた。呼吸器症状があったのは半数未満。４人が
ＰＣＲ検査で陽性だった。また、陰性だった子供のうち６人に抗体検査で陽性反応が出た。
５人が人工呼吸器を必要としたが、死者はいない。
米メディアによると、新型コロナの感染拡大が深刻な英仏伊など欧州でも川崎病に似た症
状を示す子供の報告が相次いでいる。

15 Children Are Hospitalized With Mysterious Illness Possibly Tied to Covid-19
The health authorities in New York City issued an alert saying that the children
had a syndrome that doctors do not yet fully understand.

“There are some recent rare descriptions of children in some European countries
that have had this inflammatory syndrome, which is similar to the Kawasaki
syndrome, but it seems to be very rare,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, a World Health
Organization scientist, said at a news briefing last week.
