President Trump Still Faces Risk as He Convalesces at White House
He enters a dangerous second-week period during which patients with Covid-19 can quickly worsen

Doctors not involved in Mr. Trump’s treatment said he was still at risk and that
a Monday discharge would be atypical for a patient with his characteristics and
risk factors, including age, gender, and weight.

“The most atypical feature of his discharge is captured in the words of his
physician who warned that the president could face a relapse in coming days,”
said Daniel Griffin, chief of infectious diseases at ProHealth Care New York.
“It is not typical to discharge a patient with severe COVID during the second
week,“ a dangerous period, he added.

Doctors define severe Covid-19 cases as those needing supplemental oxygen.
