公式だと Program Files とプロファイル前提の解説だけど
D:\bin\npp みたいに自分でフォルダ掘ってる場合は
7.5までは
D:\bin\npp\plugins\PluginManager.dll みたいに plugins 直下でも認識したけど
7.6からは
D:\bin\npp\plugins\PluginManager\PluginManager.dll みたいにフォルダ掘らないとだめになった
これで昔からの Plugin Manager が動いた

ところで新しい Plugins Admin とやらが見つからんのだが…

新しいプラグインマネージャーは、インストーラーを使えば勝手に入る。
zip/7z版の場合は別途拾う必要あり。

XPではアップデータ(GUP.EXE)が非対応でCtrl+Cでプラグイン管理が使えず
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Notepad++\plugins\もnppインストール時に
作成されるもののプラグインを手動で放り込んでも認識しない

とりあえずインストール途中に表示される"[ ] Don't use %APPDATA%"にチェックを入れ
ポータブル仕様(\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins 互換)でプラグインは認識するようです

続いてnppのプラグイン管理からのプラグイン追加&アップデートも実行できたので
おそらくKB4019276 TLS1.1/1.2サポートを適用しているXP/VISTAは対応します

基本的な動作、およびTLS1.2でハンドシェイクして通信することを確認。

github.comにあるプラグインはうまくいくんだけど、
sourceforge.netにあるやつはダウンロードの時点で失敗するねぇ。

あと、インストール後のnpp再起動時に、何故かIEないしエクスプローラーのセキュリティ警告が出る。
Notepad++.exeにゾーンIDがあるわけでもないのに、保存か実行かを確認してくる。

npp.7.6.2.Installerテスト版に同梱するPlugin Managerとlibcurl.dllはWinXPでも動作するものの
プラグインのインストール/リムーブ時にgpup.exeを要求してくるため
7.6.2のインストール後にnpp.7.4.2.Installerを解凍ツールで展開しgpup.exeを取り出して
\updaterに放り込む必要があるようです

別途Change-SubsystemVersion等のフリーソフトを使い
一部のプログラムのSubsystemVersionを6.00 (VISTA)→5.01 (XP)に書き換えないと
ダウンロード後にアップデートに失敗する

gpup.exeはnpp7.4.2のものは確認・警告が多く出るので
もしかしたらnpp.6.9.2のインストーラー版のものを使った方が良いかもしれない？

7.6.1までPlugins AdminもUpdateフォルダ内のファイルも同梱されてなくて
自分で集めて配置しないと使えなかったけど
7.6.2では全部同梱されるようになってたもの

WinXPでnpp7.6.2をインストール時に同梱されているプラグインは
C:\Documents and Settings\ユーザー名\AppData\Local\Notepad++\plugins\にコピーされ
C:\Documents and Settings\ユーザー名\Application Data\Notepad++\plugins\には入らない

またWinXPの場合はPlugins Adminが表示されないだけではなく
Notepad++ Plugin Manager v1.4.12.0からプラグインのインストールを実行すると
SourceForgeからはダウンロードに失敗するダウンロード可能なGitHub場合でも
ツールバーにショートカットアイコンを作成するプラグインがショートカットを作成しないので
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Notepad++\plugins\に
自動登録されたdllを設定-インポートｰプラグインのインポートから手動で再登録が必要

テキスト開こうとするとNotepad++が固まる事がたまに起きるんだけど何でだろうか
固まったらタスクマネージャーから終了させてテキスト開き直すと問題なく開けるけど・・・

今まで使ってたもの（MKEditor）がOSを変えてちゃんと使えなくなり最近使い始めたんだけど

初回起動時にlibcrypto-1_1.dllだかlibssl-1_1.dllだか(OpenSSL)が見つからないとの
エラーダイアログが出たけどそのまま普通に使えた
次回からは出てこない謎(なのでエラーメッセージうろ覚え)

アップデートがないとでて、
毎回手動でダウンロードしてます。

最近使い始めて概ね満足してるのですが、困ってることがあるので選択と右クリックについて質問です。

画像の上と下、本来は同じ部分をマウスのドラッグで選択しています。
上の画像で緑色になってるところが選択範囲です。

選択した後、赤い〇のところで右クリックをしました。
上の画像のように、緑色の選択内で右クリックをするとメニューが出て選択範囲の切り取り等が可能です。
下の画像のように、範囲外で右クリックすると選択まで解除されてしまいます。
当然、解除されるので切り取り等は不可能に。

この下のように右クリックしても選択範囲が解除されないようにする方法はありますか？
Windows付属のメモ帳や今書き込みしてるブラウザ等、範囲外で右クリックしても選択解除されずに普通に使えます。

これはNPPのコア部分のSciLexer.dllの仕様みたいで設定による変更は無理っぽい
