Backtrace が出力されないので詳細はソースを見ないとわかりませんが、
以前使っていたfakecygpty(ttps://github.com/Shougo/fakecygpty)だと、
パスワードを入力して、
"the authorized token is loaded" とエコーされたのち、
"Authorization for the account "アカウント名" failed due to "nil"."
となって twittering-mode が終了してしまいます
