There are several actual reasons.
1. Even a massive corpo like Holo can't have men succeed at the same level as the girls so a small one like Shinniki would probably never recoup the cost of debuting a male gen
2. Dealing with unicorns and parasocials would be a massive pain.
3. Internal drama is bound to happen and things like that can break a company so
4. They'd have to be separated which means hiring more managers.
5. I don't think the community or the talent would be that welcoming or care about them so no cross promotion.
6. The talents themselves probably would rather stay away from the guys in fear of the drama
