On April 13, 2025, the opening of EXPO2025 OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN,
a chorus of 10,000 people’s “Ode to Joy”( "Beethoven's 9th’ s final movement) was performed from the Yumeshima venue in Osaka to the world.
Under the direction of maestro Yutaka Sado, the Expo Ambassador, 10,000 people wearing Expo-colored ponchos, stationed in the Grand Ring, and Water Plaza,
sang one and only "Ode to Joy”.
２０２５年４月１３日の開幕イベントとして「１万人の第九 EXPO2025」を開催
万博アンバサダーでもある総監督・佐渡裕氏の指揮の下、
万博会場内の大屋根リング、ウォータープラザにて１万人の合唱団が、唯一無二の
ベートーヴェンの「第九」大合唱を創り上げました。日本語の歌詞付きでお楽しみにください。
